1st Job out West
Yesterday, Fed.11., exactly 1 month from the Day I arrived in Calgary, I was contacted by both the Rimrock Hotel & the Banff Springs Hotel for Job opportunities. And after careful deliberation, I have proudly accepted a full-time position in the house keeping dept. at the Banff Springs Hotel. :) And as quoted by my best friend Adam, working for housekeeping would be a great job, because "every room is a different mess"! LOL
Also, yesterday, I received a phone call from CalgaryPlus.ca to inform me that I was the winner of their Romantic Getaway Contest. The prize pack includes:
- One-night Honeymoon Suite accommodation for two
- One $50 Bar & Grill dinner gift certificate
- One bottle of specially selected red or white wine
- Assorted chocolates, bubble bath & upgraded amenities
- A hot breakfast for two served in the hotel's restaurant
